La Serie A
italiana vivirá este jueves un día clave para conocer su futuro, ya que el
ministro de Deportes, Vincenzo Spadafora, la Federación de Fútbol italiana
(FIGC) y la Liga de la Serie A se reunirán para establecer "si y
cuándo" se podrá reanudar la temporada 2019-2020.
Ante los datos
confortantes sobre el descenso de los contagios por coronavirus en el país, la
cúpula directiva del fútbol italiano confía en recibir el visto bueno del
Gobierno para reanudar la competición, a puerta cerrada, a partir del próximo
14 de junio y terminar el año futbolístico a principios de agosto.
Era el 9 de marzo
cuando el avanzar de la pandemia del coronavirus obligaba a interrumpir la
Serie A, con el Juventus Turín que lideraba la clasificación con un punto
de ventaja sobre el Lazio, segundo, y nueve sobre el Inter de Milán, tercero.
En estos dos
meses y medio de parón forzado, la FIGC se mantuvo firme en la voluntad de
encontrar una forma para terminar la temporada y evitar disparar unas pérdidas
ya millonarias. Tras una larga serie de negociaciones y polémicas, este jueves
conocerá el veredicto del Gobierno.
Así lo prometía
la semana pasada el ministro de Deportes Spadafora: "Convoqué el 28 de
mayo a (el presidente de la FIGC, Gabriele) Gravina y a (el presidente de la
Serie A, Paolo) Dal Pino para decidir una fecha segura para reanudar la Serie
A".
El ministro de
Deportes, que destacó en las últimas semanas la necesidad de actuar con cautela
para tener clara la evolución de la curva de contagios, estudió el protocolo
sanitario de la FIGC y comunicará este jueves su decisión.
El protocolo está
formado por 39 páginas, en las que la FIGC explica cómo garantizaría la
seguridad de los deportistas y de los demás trabajadores durante la
competición.
Entre los varios
puntos, se prevé que en un partido de fútbol se admitirá a un máximo de 300
personas, todas mayores de edad. Los futbolistas que juegan en casa deberán
acudir al estadio a bordo de coches privados, mientras que el equipo visitante
lo hará dividido en varios autobuses, para garantizar las distancias de
seguridad.
También está
previsto que, si la instalación deportiva lo permite, los equipos usen dos
vestuarios distintos para limitar aún más el riesgo de contagios.
De momento, los
clubes de la Serie A llevan poco más de una semana entrenando en grupo en sus
centros deportivos, después de que el 4 de mayo comenzaran las sesiones
individuales y voluntarias.
La FIGC, que
aplazó del 30 de junio al 31 de agosto el plazo para cerrar la temporada
2019-2020, confía en tener tiempo para organizar, además de las doce jornadas
ligueras que quedan, también las semifinales y la final de la Copa Italia.
La competición
copera fue interrumpida cuando se habían disputado las idas de las dos
semifinales, con el Juventus Turín que empató 1-1 contra el Milan, en San Siro,
y el Nápoles que ganó 1-0 contra el Inter de Milán, también en el estadio milanés.
