Los planes para
jugar algunos partidos de la Serie A a las 16.30 horas en pleno verano han
provocado una fuerte oposición entre los futbolistas italianos. Daniele
Gastaldello, capitán del Brescia, define la idea como escandalosa.
El sindicato
italiano de futbolistas tiene previsto emitir mañana un comunicado para
protestar por este tema y también porque no se les ha tenido en cuenta en todo
este proceso que se sigue hasta la reanudación de la Serie A y consideran que
las decisiones se han tomado sólo por intereses económicos. Están preocupados
por las lesiones y porque algunos clubs no están pagando las nóminas.
Suspendida desde
el 9 de marzo por la pandemia de coronavirus, la Serie A se reanudará el 13 o
el 20 de junio, según aseguró el domingo Vincenzo Spadafora, ministro italiano
de Deportes. La fecha quedará fijada el jueves, pero de cualquier modo las 12
jornadas pendientes se comprimirán en un apretado calendario para que la
competición termine en agosto, cuando tendrán lugar Champions y Europa League,

publicados por los medios italianos durante el fin de semana revelaron que la
Serie A planea escalonar los partidos que se jugarían el mismo día en las
franjas horarias de las 16:30, 18:45 y 21:00.

de futbolistas, contundente
“¿Jugar
a las 16:30 a mediados del verano, junio o julio? No hay manera de que estemos
jugando a esa hora”, afirma Umberto Calcagno, vicepresidente de la Asociación
Italiana de Jugadores (AIC), en una entrevista a La Repubblica. “Los
presidentes (de clubs) solo piensan en la televisión, no en la salud de los
jugadores”.
Mientras, Daniele
Gastaldello también expresa su preocupación. “Estás arriesgando la seguridad de
los jugadores”, dijo a la Rai. “Jugar tantos partidos, con altas temperaturas,
no será fácil. Jugar a las 16.30 es escandaloso, no es factible”.
Por su part,
Enrico Castellacci, ex médico de la selección italiana, asegura que la
situación le recuerda al Mundial de 2014 en Brasil. “Es difícil jugar a esa
porque hace mucho calor en el verano. En Brasil jugamos con un 90% de humedad a

opción de que el 13 de junio se disputen 4 partidos pendientes para que de esta
manera todos los equipos tengan contabilizados 26 encentros disputados y el día
20 ya empezarían jugarse las 12 jornadas completas que quedan hasta el final de
la competición.
