Haro, Catalán, Alexis, Martínez Feria y Rubi se reunieron este martes
El pasado martes, el estadio Benito Villamarín fue escenario de una cumbre deportiva de la cúpula del Betis. El presidente, Ángel Haro, el consejero delegado, José Miguel López Catalán, el director general, Federico Martínez Feria, y el coordinador del área deportiva, Alexis Trujillo, se reunieron con nombres y detalles sobre la mesa para seguir profundizando en la planificación de la próxima temporada. Un encuentro en el que también participó el técnico de la primera plantilla verdiblanca, Rubi, confirmando que sigue de lleno en el día a día del club a corto y medio plazo.
"Estamos trabajando, planificando, valorando continuidad de jugadores, en una fase inicial. Hablando mucho...", desveló el miércoles en una multitudinaria rueda de prensa virtual el técnico de Vilasar de Mar. Palabras que demuestran que, más allá de la necesidad que tiene de que su equipo ofrezca una buena imagen en las 11 jornadas de Liga que restan y luche al menos por intentar meterse en la pelea por Europa, la puerta a su continuidad en el cargo para la campaña 2020-21 sigue abierta. Eso sí, con condicionantes...
"Sigo pensando que hay que ganar partidos para tener tranquilidad. Me la están garantizando, pero tengo que demostrar en estos 11 partidos que el equipo acaba bien y que genera sensaciones positivas con la base de un trabajo hecho", explicó Rubi. Es decir, el Betis cuenta con él para el futuro si consigue demostrar que las buenas sensaciones con las que llegó a la interrupción liguera provocada por la pandemia se mantienen en el tiempo. Y hasta entonces, el club no duda en consensuar con él nombres de altas y bajas en la plantilla, por fin cara a cara tras semanas de trabajo telemático.
Refuerzos en casi todas las líneas
El Betis tiene previsto reforzar la portería, con un guardameta que compita con Joel Robles, movimiento que provocaría la salida en forma de cesión de Dani Martín. Busca laterales, ya que Barragán cumple contrato, no ejecutará la opción de compra por Pedraza en los términos actuales ni hay dudas sobre lo que pueda ocurrir con Emerson. Y se mira con interés la medular y las bandas, intentando prolongar la cesión de Aleñá un año más y reforzar la zona de creación y los extremos con oportunidades de mercado.Una planificación en la que también tendrá vital importancia qué jugadores puedan terminar saliendo de la plantilla, que obliguen a reforzar posiciones no previstas inicialmente. El futuro de Mandi, que sigue sin renovar, el de Feddal, que estuvo a punto de marcharse al Valencia hace tres meses, o el de William Carvalho, con numerosas ofertas, es una incógnita. Situaciones que la Comisión Deportiva al completo, con Rubi, valoró a fondo el martes además de tratar otros temas de actualidad del equipo. LaLiga sigue parada, pero el trabajo de despachos continúa.
