La Federación de
Fútbol Italiana informó de que aplazó la competición futbolística hasta
el 14 de junio de acuerdo con el último Decreto del Gobierno, aunque
manifestó el deseo de que las "autoridades competentes" vuelvan a
plantearse la decisión y anticipen el visto bueno.
"La FIGC,
tomada conciencia de las órdenes del Decreto del 17 de mayo con las
'medidas urgentes de contención del contagio en el entero territorio nacional'
y tomada conciencia de la suspensión de las competiciones deportivas hasta el
14 de junio 2020 de los eventos y de las competiciones deportivas de cada tipo,
en lugares públicos o privados, con el deseo de una ulterior y deseable
decisión de las autoridades competentes, prolongó la suspensión de la actividad
deportiva hasta el 14 de junio de 2020", se lee en el comunicado oficial.
La Serie A se
encuentra suspendida desde el pasado 9 marzo, en la jornada 26, con el
Juventus Turín líder con un punto de ventaja sobre el Lazio, segundo, y el
Inter de Milán, tercero.
Los clubes de la
Serie A recibieron el visto bueno del Gobierno para entrenar, de forma
individual, en sus centros deportivos desde el pasado 4 de mayo, aunque
todavía no hay autorización para ejercitarse en equipo.
La FIGC había
manifestado la semana pasada la voluntad de reanudar la Serie A el 13 de
junio, pero aceptó las peticiones del Gobierno de no competir hasta al menos el
día 14.
El presidente del
Gobierno italiano, Giuseppe Conte, aseguró el sábado que se necesitan
"mayores garantías" para reanudar el campeonato liguero.
"El fútbol
atrae a muchos aficionados" y la eventual reanudación del campeonato
"es un tema que recibe muchas solicitudes. El ministro de Deportes, Vincenzo
Spadafora, sigue el tema con gran atención y es muy responsable, como todo el
gobierno. Primero hay que entender y esperar que las condiciones se cumplan
para garantizar la reanudación del campeonato en condiciones de máxima
seguridad", dijo.
"Para
aventurarse a decir una fecha se necesitan más garantías que en este
momento y hablando con Spadafora no las hay", afirmó Conte que expresó su
deseo de que lleguen "lo antes posible".
