El entrenador del
Augsburgo, Heiko Herrlich, se perderá el reinicio de la Bundesliga este
fin de semana por haber ido a comprar dentífrico y haberse saltado así las
estrictas normas de la cuarentena.
Herrlich,
recientemente fichado para el cargo, no podrá asistir al partido a puerta
cerrada contra el Wolfsburgo, la jornada en que se reanuda la temporada,
tras 66 días de suspensión por la pandemia del coronavirus.
El propio
técnico lamentó en una videoconferencia su error. Explicó que salió un
momento del lugar de concentración para ir al supermercado, con el chándal
puesto, al ver que se le había acabado el dentífrico y una loción hidratante
para la piel.
Con ello incumplió
las normas especiales impuestas por la DFL para el reinicio de la
temporada, según las cuales en los siete días anteriores a la reapertura no se
puede abandonar el lugar de concentración del equipo.
El tropiezo de
Herrlich sigue al revuelo causado por el jugador del Hertha Berlín Salomon
Kalou, quien fue apartado del equipo a principios de mayo por haberse grabado
-y colgado las imágenes luego en internet- estrechando la mano a algunos
compañeros en el vestuario o mientras se disponían a hacerse los test de la
COVID-19.
La Bundesliga
alemana se reinicia con muchas incógnitas, más allá de lo deportivo, por
el reto que supone hacerlo en plena desescalada de las medidas restrictiva
articuladas en Alemania contra el coronavirus.
Se pretende, en
lo futbolístico, dirimir el duelo por el título entre el Bayern, el
Borussia Dortmund y el RB Leipzig. Pero además de eso deberá demostrarse que es
factible seguir las estrictas normas impuestas por la DFL hasta conseguir luz
verde del ámbito político para ese reinicio.
