Mourinho tipped for Premier League return

Jose Mourinho is currently halfway through his two-year contract at Fenerbahce, and last month he said he expects to stay with the Turkish giants next season. Last October, the Portuguese did say he was "ready" to head back to the English top-flight but only to manage a club "at the bottom". But ex-France international William Gallas believes the former Real Madrid boss will only be back on English shores if a post at a title contender becomes available.

Man Utd keen on signing Nkunku while Chelsea want Garnacho

Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho could swap clubs this summer as Manchester United are keen on signing the French forward while the Blues have their eyes on the Argentine, according to The Telegraph.

The transfers are likely to be completely independently, however, the two Premier League giants are yet to hold formal talks.

Arsenal sent transfer warning amid Sesko and Gyokeres links

Former Arsenal defender William Gallas believes his old side could slip down the Premier League table if they don't sign a striker this summer.

The former defender told Prime Casino: “I could see Arsenal slipping down the table if they don’t sign a striker this summer. If you look at the statistics, you could say that last season was worse than the season before. Maybe the squad is slowly dropping off, maybe opponents are working out how to play against Arsenal, that will make things even more difficult.”

Santos chief offers update on Neymar's future

Santos president Marcelo Teixeira claimed that he is hopeful that Neymar will extend his stay at the club beyond this summer.

Teixeira told Radio Bandeirantes: "We are talking to Neymar’s team. It is a step forward, we are making a lot of progress in the new negotiations and we are very close to a new agreement to allow Neymar to stay for a new period. We hope it happens as quickly as possible. It can't be rushed. It's not a case of, if Neymar doesn't renew, he won't play tomorrow or Sunday. That's not the case. We have no need for Neymar to play now or for the team to return to action. That's my impression. I'm very hopeful for a favourable outcome."

The forward is now linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge and L'Équipe reports that Manchester United are keen on signing the player.

Man Utd warned against €80m signing after Cunha transfer

Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has warned his old club against signing an €80 million Arsenal-linked attacker.

He told Listofsweepstakescasinos.com: "Xavi Simons is a great player, but Man Utd would be stacking one area of the pitch with too many options. You have Bruno Fernandes in there, Matheus Cunha and maybe Bryan Mbeumo. Simons isn’t proven the way they are in the Premier League, so is he a player they need right now? Probably not."

Crystal Palace co-owner sells stake
