Delap set to sign for Chelsea - completes first part of medical
Chelsea have triggered Ipswich Town's £30m release clause for the signing of striker Liam Delap. David Ornstein has reported that the Blues have already agreed to personal terms with the 22-year-old, and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Englishman has already completed the first part of his medical with the Blues.
Man Utd-linked Martinez breaks silence on his future
Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has broken his silence on his future as links with Manchester United continue to intensify.
Speaking to the media after reporting for international duty, Martinez said: "My future? I don't know, I come here to play for the national team, and that's the only thing that matters to me right now. Do I want to move to a new club? The transfer window just opened, so there's still a long way to go."
Walker opens door to Milan stay under returning boss Allegri
Manchester City loanee Kyle Walker is open to returning to AC Milan permanently as Massimiliano Allegri returns to the San Siro hot seat.
Walker played 16 times for Milan during his loan spell from Manchester City in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign but it had appeared they were not going to sign him permanently. Speaking at the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, however, he said, "yes, yes, maybe" when asked about a potential future with the club.
'Zero substance' to Onana rumours but Man Utd will 'entertain sale'
While there is "zero substance" to the transfer talk raging around Andre Onana, Manchester United will "entertain a sale" at the right price.
That is according to The United Stand, who have been told that the Cameroonian goalkeeper is not being lined up for an imminent move to the Middle East. Neom SC, who have just secured promotion to the Saudi Pro League, have been credited with interest in Onana.

Liverpool target Kerkez hints at move to Anfield
Milos Kerkez has hinted that a summer move to Liverpool is on amid talk that the Premier League champions are keen to sign the Bournemouth star.
Kerkez said: "Of course, something always leaks into the news. I think it's normal that if you play well and the team does well, then you get into the news and end up on the front page, and everyone talks about you. I see this as fuel that drives me forward. All this doesn't break me, but it doesn't boost my ego either. It teaches me humility and motivates me."
Wrexham eyeing Ward swoop
Wrexham are plotting a swoop for ex-Leicester City goalkeeper Danny Ward, according to The Sun. The Welsh club are looking for players with Premier League experience to join their ranks ahead of their first season back in the Championship, and Ward is available as a free agent after being released by Leicester following their relegation.

According to Paul Joyce of The Times, Brentford are close to signing Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in an £18m deal. Kelleher is expected to become the Bees new No.1 for the 2025-26 season as Mark Flekken nears a move to German giants Bayer Leverkusen.
