Chelsea, where he began his career, along with Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, are all reportedly keen on securing his signature. Despite the domestic interest, the defender may resist the lure of the Premier League.

De Bruyne considers Premier League switch as Man City exit nears

Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed he's open to continuing his career in England, potentially at another Premier League side, as he prepares to leave Manchester City. The Belgian playmaker described his future plans as “complicated,” explaining that his decision must reflect both professional ambitions and personal responsibilities.

"I want to play good football," he said. "I know you're trying to guess where I'm going to go, but you guys will know when I know. It depends on who comes. I have a family, young kids. I have to make a decision that suits everybody, not just me. If I were 20 years old, it would be an easy decision, but now it's a bit more complex."

You've just got to keep your head down and keep working hard. “It has been a fantastic two years [with the senior team]. Barcelona make Liverpool forward No. 1 transfer target

Per Relevo, Barcelona have reportedly made Liverpool's star forward Luis Diaz their number one priority in the summer transfer window. The Colombian has a contract at Anfield until 2027, and the striker is yet to sign an extension. Athletic Club's Nico Williams also features in the Blaugrana's list, but Diaz's name reportedly appears over the Spanish sensation. Diaz, however, will cost Barcelona over €80 million (£67m/$89m), and his signing will depend on whether the club can offload some of their current squad members, due to their ongoing financial crisis.

When you build a house it's always more. Normally this happens. And you prepare for different scenarios. Then unfortunate things happen. Sometimes we want a player and suddenly we have an injury or that player gets injured. There are so many variables that can happen but there is a budget. There is always an idea of what we can do, what we can improve, what the priorities are going to be and then let's see if we can do it."
