A last-gasp Will Wright own goal earned Bromley a 1-0 win to kill off Swindon’s slim play-off hopes.
Danny Imray nutmegged Tom Nichols on the byline and fired a hard, low ball into the box which bounced off the hapless defender’s shin in the 88th minute.
By that stage Town had thrown all their forwards on after Kabongo Tshimanga missed a penalty just before half-time.
In the opening minutes Tshimanga fired in a shot from point-blank range, but Bromley goalkeeper Grant Smith did well to block.
Seconds later Imray’s vicious effort was well stopped by Connor Ripley, who then tipped a dangerous header from Omar Sowunmi over the bar from a corner.
Adam Mayor then brought down Paul Glatzel in the area and Tshimanga stepped up, but his weak effort was easily smothered by Smith.
After the break Sowunmi’s header hit the bar, while Smith tipped over a bouncing Tom Nichols effort.
Harry Smith’s diving header at the back post was clawed away by Smith before Swindon substitute Joe Westley hit a post.
But Imray ended the hosts’ play-off ambitions two minutes from time.
